From caves to huts to homes to cities Man has moved from the wild to the wilder From hunting for food to hunting for fun He has skinned nature to just feel good From guarding his clan to just saving his ass He has grown to know that greed is all The greed for wealth, power and more Man has civilized and gone to the dogs
As bird he flew above the oceans, as a fish he swam freely in it and as a man he flew, swam, sailed and finally drowned in it
Part man, part parrot, He lived a life repeating everything anyone said
He confined them as lifelong pets; He ate them; He hunted them for fun; He killed them for his luxury; Man emerged the beast among all.
