And today again he was awakened from his sleep
Just in time to wake me up from my dream
And yet again he shined all day
Giving me the time to make my day

And when all was done he said good bye
With a smile I too waved back bye
A good job done for ages unknown
A good job done always without a frown

But then that ended a good long day
Setting stage for a whole great Night
I am sure the night is all fun
But what is life if you don’t see dawn

The voices of nature we seldom hear
The murmur of trees we never care
The cool breeze that brings the fragrance
And the scenery that puts us in a trance

The flowing river that captures the sky’s glaze
The dancing daffodils that we often embrace
The cow and calf in the green does graze
The mountains so huge make us amaze

The little birds that chirp in the trees
The rainbow that bestows its radiance
The nature’s cup is filled with life
Drink to your thirst for its always rife

Even the silent log that flows with the tide
Is a scene of beauty that nature can pride.
